Woman in bed waking up feeling refreshed and energised.

From restless to rested

Fall asleep faster
Sleep deeper
Wake up refreshed

A 4-week journey to restore your body’s natural ability to rest so that you can sleep well again and experience steady energy, clarity, and joy throughout the day

Do you struggle to switch off at night?

Lying awake with your mind racing… or waking up at 3 a.m. and unable to fall back asleep? You make it through the day on autopilot: tired, foggy, and running on coffee, only to find yourself wide awake again when night falls.

You’ve probably tried everything: herbal teas, meditation apps, supplements… They might help for a while, but somehow, restful sleep never seems to last. That feeling of waking up refreshed feels like a distant memory.

If that sounds like you, I know exactly how you feel because I’ve been there too! For years, I struggled with insomnia and restless nights. It touched every part of my life: I’d cancel plans out of sheer exhaustion, depend on caffeine to get through the day, and dread bedtime knowing I’d be awake for hours. Life felt depleting and out of sync at the time.

Everything began to change when I turned to yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness. Not as quick fixes, but as tools to understand what my body truly needed. I discovered that sleep isn’t something we force, it’s something we allow, when the mind and body feel safe enough to rest.

Imagine if you could...

  • fall asleep easily, without struggle or anxiety.
  • sleep soundly through the night and wake up genuinely refreshed.
  • feel calm, balanced, and emotionally steady throughout the day.
  • reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm and sense of peace.

Yes, this is possible! And that’s exactly what this course, From restless to rested, is designed for: to help you reconnect to your natural ability to rest and sleep soundly.

Your transformation formula

Knowledge empowers change

Learn what really happens during sleep, why it sometimes goes off track, and how your nervous system, habits, and environment all play a role. Understanding sleep is the first step toward transforming it.

Calm your nervous system, naturally

Through gentle movement and conscious breathing, you’ll retrain your body to shift from “fight-or-flight” mode into a state of safety and rest: the essential foundation for deep, restorative sleep.

Create space for true rest

Soften tension, quiet the mind, and experience practices like restorative yoga and yoga nidra that allow your body to recover on every level: physical, mental, and emotional.

Build habits
that last

Turn what you learn on the mat into a sustainable bedtime routine and supportive daily rhythm. You’ll leave with tools you can use anytime to maintain better sleep and emotional balance long after the course ends.

Course curriculum

A science-based, practice-led journey to better sleep

From restless to rested 4-week course blends ancient wisdom and modern science to help you restore healthy, restful sleep, naturally. It combines gentle yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and evidence-based insights into how the nervous system and circadian rhythm work together to support rest.

This course follows a step-by-step methodology designed to help you:
  • Understand what’s keeping you awake and how sleep can be restored.
  • Regulate your nervous system so your body feels safe enough to rest.
  • Restore deep rest through guided practices that calm the mind and release tension.
  • Integrate new habits and tools for lasting change.

How it works

Each week builds on the last, guiding you step-by-step toward deeper rest, emotional balance, and a renewed connection with your body’s natural rhythms. Yet, every session also stands on its own so you can join individual classes based on your needs or availability and still gain valuable insights and tools to improve your sleep.

Each 90-minute class is divided into two parts:
  • A 30-minute talk exploring the week’s theme, from the science of sleep and nervous system regulation to emotional balance and breath.
  • A 60-minute yoga-based practice, carefully designed and backed by scientific research to support specific aspects of sleep, nervous system regulation, and emotional well-being.

You’ll leave every session with simple home practices and small, actionable changes to apply during the week, helping you gently reshape your sleep patterns and daily routines over time.

By combining practical education with experiential yoga, this course empowers you to understand your body, nurture your nervous system, and build a long-term foundation for deep, natural sleep.

What you'll learn

WEEK 1

Understanding sleep: the foundation of restorative health

Discover what truly happens when we sleep and why it’s essential for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. In this session, you’ll learn how sleep cycles work, what disrupts them, and how lifestyle, light exposure, and stress affect your rest. Through gentle movement and mindful breathing, you’ll begin resetting your body’s natural rhythm and laying the groundwork for deeper, more restorative sleep.

WEEK 2

The nervous system: your inner sleep switch

Your nervous system holds the key to deep rest. This week, you’ll explore how stress and overstimulation keep the body “switched on,” and how to consciously activate your relaxation response. You’ll learn practical tools, from specific breathing techniques to restorative poses, that help signal safety to your body so it can naturally let go and prepare for sleep.

WEEK 3

The mind–body connection: calming the mental chatter

When the mind won’t stop, neither will the body. This session helps you understand the link between thoughts, emotions, and sleep, and how to quiet your inner dialogue through mindfulness and gentle yoga. You’ll practice accessible techniques to release mental restlessness, regulate emotions, and create the inner stillness that invites peaceful, uninterrupted sleep.

WEEK 4

Rituals for deep rest: designing your sleep support system

In this final week, we’ll bring together everything you’ve learned to create your own flexible sleep toolkit. We’ll revisit each technique and explore when and how to use them — from breath and movement to mindfulness and relaxation — so you can respond to your body’s needs each night. You’ll leave feeling confident in designing a bedtime routine that adapts with you, supporting deep rest no matter what kind of day you’ve had.

About your coach

Hi, I'm Gladys!

I’m a certified yoga therapist guiding individuals towards greater well-being so that they can live a joyful and vibrant life. Imagine waking up full of energy, feeling good in your own skin and comfortable in your body, ready to embrace the day to come!

Yes, this is achievable! But let’s be honest, it’s a process. With the right tools, methods and some basic understanding of our physiology, each one of us truly has the power to transform their life for the better. And if you ask me, it all starts by looking after our sleep.

I can testify to that from my own personal journey which began over 14 years ago rather unexpectedly, at a time when life was feeling precarious and stressful. Frustrated by years of insomnia, I embarked on an exploration to find natural ways to rest deeply and improve my sleep. Today, I’m passionate about empowering others to overcome sleep challenges and cultivate lasting peace through the power of yoga.

From restless to rested 4-week course brings together everything I’ve learned on my own path to restoring my sleep. Through movement, breath, and mindful awareness, I’ll help you rediscover your body’s innate ability to relax and restore. My aim is for you to leave not only sleeping better, but feeling calmer, clearer, and more at ease in everyday life.

Frequently asked questions

Absolutely! This course is designed for all levels, including complete beginners. Each practice is gentle, accessible, and guided step-by-step, with options to adapt according to your comfort. The focus is not on flexibility or performance, but on rest, awareness, and connection with your body.

Yes! Even if you’ve been practising for years, this course will give you new insights into how yoga supports the nervous system and sleep. You’ll deepen your understanding of restorative practices and leave with practical tools you can weave into your existing routine.

Yes, this course was created precisely with that in mind. Through gentle movement, breath, and mindfulness practices, you’ll learn how to calm the body and mind, regulate your nervous system, and create the inner conditions that make rest possible.

Most likely, yes. The practices are slow, mindful, and adaptable. However, if you have any specific condition or injury, please get in touch before enrolling so we can ensure it’s suitable for you and, if needed, discuss safe modifications.

Each 90-minute class includes a 30-minute talk exploring the science of sleep and how yoga supports rest, followed by a 60-minute guided practice combining movement, breath, and relaxation. If you join the entire program, you’ll also receive online materials to review at your own pace.

You’re welcome to join individual sessions, but the full 4-week course offers the most benefit. Each week builds on the last, helping you gradually integrate what you learn. Please note that online material is only available to those enrolled in all 4 classes.

Unlike general yoga classes, From restless to rested blends education, yoga therapy principles, and restorative practices. You’ll not only experience deep rest, but also gain practical understanding of why these techniques work, so you can apply them whenever you need support.

You don’t need to bring anything specific as everything you’ll need (mats, blankets, bolsters, and cushions) will be available at the studio. I simply recommend bringing a notebook and pen to jot down key points, reflections, or insights during and after each session.
You might also like to bring a bottle of water and wear layers you can easily adjust as we move from gentle activity to relaxation.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and breathe easily. Layers work best, for example, soft trousers or leggings, a light top, a warm jumper, and cosy socks. The room may feel warmer during movement and cooler during stillness or relaxation, so this will help you stay comfortable throughout the session.

That’s perfectly fine, and very common! Falling asleep simply means your body feels safe enough to rest.

Yes, many participants come with these challenges. The practices are grounding and supportive, helping to soothe the nervous system and restore emotional balance. However, this course is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment: it’s a complementary approach to help you reconnect with your body’s natural capacity to regulate and rest.

If you’ve enrolled to all 4 classes, you’ll receive unlimited access to all resources, so you can revisit the content anytime you need a refresher, whether that’s during the course or months later.
